CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Accord is committed to being responsible investors and good stewards of the environment and its community.
Accord is a signatory of:

We are a signatory to the United Nations-supported Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI), which is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. The PRI acts in the long-term interests of its signatories, of the financial markets and economies in which its signatories operate and, ultimately, of the environment and society as a whole. In our investment and advisory services, we will adhere to the United Nations-supported PRI in all of our organisation-wide activities.

We are proud to be a Diversity in Action initiative signatory, signalling our commitment to improving diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the industry through action. We are taking concrete actions to promote DEI within our organisation and in the wider industry. As a signatory, we participate in regular roundtable discussions, working groups and surveys to provide the industry with greater transparency on the state of DEI today and on DEI best practices that will move private markets forward.
At Accord Group Holdings, we recognize the critical importance of responsible investment (RI) factors in driving sustainable value creation for our stakeholders. Our primary stewardship objective is to maximize our portfolio-level risk-adjusted returns. In doing so, per our governance policy, we identify, evaluate and integrate material issues that could impact our investment performance.
Our commitment to transparent and effective RI governance is managed at the highest levels of our organization. Managing Partners hold ultimate responsibility for overseeing RI-related risks and opportunities. They ensure that RI considerations are integrated into policy, strategy, risk management and reporting processes and align with the long-term interests of stakeholders. They also ensure that the firm has the appropriate resources and budget to implement its RI plan. Managing Partners receive regular updates on RI performance, risks, and initiatives through our RI Steering Committee.
Our RI Steering Committee is comprised of senior leaders from different business units, including our CFO, and is led by an Accord Managing Partner, who serves as the RI Officer. The RI Steering Committee is responsible for assessing and managing RI-related risks and opportunities, including climate risk. The RI Steering Committee reports to the Managing Partners and meets regularly to ensure that the RI plan is embedded across all levels of the organization through clear accountability, resource allocation, and performance monitoring mechanisms.
