Mr. Chen, who has over 10 years of industry experience, serves as a Principal. Prior to joining
Accord, Mr. Chen worked in acquisitions for Resource Real Estate, Inc. (a subsidiary of C-III Capital
Partners). Prior to that, Mr. Chen worked as an Investment Banking Associate in the Real Estate
Group of FBR Capital Markets.

Mr. Chen earned a Master of Science in Finance degree from the University of Rochester Simon
Graduate School of Business and received his Bachelor of Science, Finance & Accounting degree
from Syracuse University.
