Mr. Clarke, who has over 30 years of real estate experience, serves as a Senior Advisor to Accord. Prior to Accord, he was Senior Managing Director & Head of Investors Services EMEA of CBRE Global Investors, where he was responsible for capital raising and investor relations in the EMEA region.  While at CBRE, he was also a member of the firm’s Global Leadership Team, as well as its European Executive Committee and European Operations Committee, responsible for setting and executing CBRE’s strategy in EMEA. Previously, Mr. Clarke was Senior Managing Director of Mesirow Financial, where he acted as co-portfolio manager for a global fund of funds program focused on value-add and opportunistic real estate. Mr. Clarke has also held management positions at Schroders Investment Management and founded its multi-manager business in 1997. He started his career at Hillier Parker.

Mr. Clarke received a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from Oxford Brookes University.  He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (“MRICS”) and holds an Investment Management Certificate (“IMC”).  Mr. Clarke is a Member of the Management Board, course leader and former chairman of the Secondary Market and Liquidity Committee for the European Indirect Real Estate Funds Association (“INREV”). Mr. Clarke is a mentor with the Oxford Brookes Estate Management mentor program.
