Mr. Raman, who has 26 years of experience, serves as Director of Investment and Asset
Management. Prior to joining Accord, Mr. Raman was Head of Investment Performance at
Macquarie Group, helping manage $8 billion of assets under management comprised of entity-
level and real estate joint venture investments. He also served on boards of numerous real
estate portfolio companies in the U.S. and U.K. Prior to that, Mr. Raman was at Merrill Lynch’s
Real Estate Investment Group as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, he was General Counsel for the
Real Estate Group of Dillon Read Capital Management (UBS AG).
Mr. Raman has also been an attorney at large global law firms in Sydney, Australia and New
York, focusing on real estate and real estate finance. He is an admitted attorney in Australia,
New York and California. He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, Australia, with
a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), graduating with merit, and a Bachelor of Laws.
